Commutators & Slipring REMSO has been manufacturing slipring assemblies and commutator in moulded and screwed version for domestic application to a Giant Traction Motors of AC/DC locos, diesel locos and industrial motor. We have over 800 designs ranging from 20mm to over 3000mm brush diameters.
The ability to produce all of the components for commutators and sliprings ensures total control throughout the manufacturing process. Any size of commutator, with fixed or solid risers, of moulded or built-up construction.
Moulded and shrink fit slipring assemblies, made out from phosphor bronze / electrolytic copper / cupro-nickel, brass and steel are held by moulding materials or shrinks fitted with or without inserts to meet the exact requirements of the customer
In addition to the simulated testing through the CAD system, all commutators and sliprings undergo thorough mechanical and electrical testing at all stages of manufacture. Every commutator undergoes static seasoning and full rotary seasoning if requested by the customer. Full hard copies of the profile readings are supplied as appropriate.
OUR TECHNOLOGY M, N OR Px WILL FULFILL YUR EXPECTATION CONSTRUCTION (M) A standard copper trapezoid segment design and appropriate asbestos free glass-fiber phenolic compounds to fit your needs in high speed and temperature requirements for fractional horsepower universal motors used in the automotive industry, specifically for actuating and ABS Motors, fuel pump, wipers, fans, power tool, lawn and garden tools.
CONSTRUCTION (N) The multiple dovetail design copper segment allows for an optimum anchoring over the whole length of the steel or cost iron hub and has good dimensional stability under the effects of speed and temperature recommended for class 'H' motors. The dielectric properties and insulation resistance are very high.
CONSTRUCTION (Px) A standard for high performance commentators. This technology has remarkable dimensional stability at distortions levels that do not disturb the commutation, which allows for maximum brush life and enables replacement with limited maintenance, which can be grouped together with other mechanical components of the motor.
