Electro Magnetic Shoe Brakes efficient transmission of braking force providing ‘fail safe’ operation in the event of power failure are intended for heavy industrial and mill duty applications is of robust construction and simple in design to reduce maintenance problems and down time.

Specification & Feature:-
  • Range : 100 mm to 800 mm.
  • Class of insulation of Coil :- Class F (encapsulated coil).
  • Insulation voltage :- 660 V
  • No. of operation per hour :- 600
  • Mechanical life :- 20 x 106 operations.
  • Break release voltage :- 80% of rated voltage.
  • Self lubricated busings are used at hinge points.
  • Torque is adjusted quickly by turning the adjustment nut.
  • Options include floor, ceiling and wall mounting brakes with accessories like limit switch, manual release and residual magnetism.
  • Lining wear indication with help of sounding pins eliminates guesswork in adjusting shoe travel to compensate for lining wear.
  • Inexpensive lining replacement.
  • Hardened steel lever & spring gland.
